Gruumshar

Rocks and dry plains are what dominate the landscape of Gruumshar, a land where blood and sweat are the only things that seem to grow. These harsh conditions have deterred most people from settling or even passing through, but not orcs. The orcs have decided to make Gruumshar their home.

Geography

The country is divided by a river that flows through the middle of Gruumshar, providing orcs with the necessary water.

There are also many mining sites that once belonged to dwarves who were driven out of the country.

Clans

Nargul, Gromak, and Shagul are some the better known clans of orcs, but there are many more. Nurgul has recently conquered the territories of the other two clans, so the country is under a totalitarian regime. The orcs who are unhappy with the current state of affairs are trying to leave the country or fight, which seems to be futile. The country lacks a leader who would take over and gain freedom for the Gromak, Shagul and others.
